Son Boter A typical rural Mallorcan house built in the 18th century which Joan Miró bought in 1959, thanks to the monetary pri- ze that he received the previous year when he won the New York Guggenheim International Award. Son Boter allowed Miró to extend his work areas and it was a place that acted as a retreat for him. In Son Boter, he created some of his most important large works of art. Art, culture and a superbly unique setting, all at your disposalThe Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró offers a series of unique settings as venues for different private activities and events.
A brief presentation is given below of each of the Fundació’s available facilities, including venues both indoors and out.
Conditions:The reservation and hire of facilities at the Fundació Miró Mallorca must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event (except for Espai Estrella, two months).
A written request must be made, specifying the date of the event, timetable, envi-saged number of people, type of activity, specific needs (catering, lighting, music) etc.
