SEVEN people were releasedovernight following their arrestsyesterday morning in relation tofraudulent motor insurance injuryclaims.The seven, four women and threemen, were detained yesterdaymorning as part of a gardainvestigation called OperationNascar. A garda spokesman said:“These detentions are phase two ofan ongoing garda investigation andthe arrests were made as part of acoordinated strategy by the gardaí.Previous arrests were made lastmonth in Limerick and Cork.”A file on the matter is now to besent to the DPP.
