PurposeTo test IP anomaly near photo-linear (335 deg.)

ConclusionsThe IP anomaly can be explained by the overall occurence of "11 pyrite ; and the slight enrichment (up to 21 pyrite) in bleached silicified areas.

RecommendationsRecoamendations pending assay results on the mineralized (pyrite) silicified zones.

This small unit begins and ends with a sharp contact withpatchy quartz pods and stringers concentrated near thecontacts.

Small narrow quartz-carbonate stringers ( </- limn) strungout along schistosity ; resulting in a dark-light coloredfine banding, The higher degree of fracturing is relatedto the schistose nature.

Ihis unit likely represents a mainly chlohtically alteredmafic volcanic roof pendant. An identical occurencc isfrom 16.2 -y 16.4m,

The upper 10cm of the unit begins at a sharp contact andcontains a strong hematitic alteration. This portion israther rubbly.

The strong hematitic alteration ends rather abruptly andthe rest of this unit contains only moderate hematiticalteration. Ihere is one km by 2cm K-feldspar crystalpresent in the center of the unit,

The lower contact is sharp (g 30 deg.) and is proceeded byapproximately 10cm of foliated ( */- finely brecciated )material, This foliation is not obvious anywhere else inthe unit,

The Magnetite is very finely disseminated. Ihis unit couldbe a granitized mafic volcanic roof pendant.

Purposelo test IP anomaly

ConclusionsIP anomaly possibly caused by weak pyrtie (11) mineralization.

RecommendationsAbundant sericite and potassic alteration was observed with only a minor amount of silicification. Further drilling

recommended pending assay results.

The groundemass is asphanitic and the phenocrysts are medium grained. The unit contians feldspar phenocrysts Mem) and quartz phenocrysts Wim). Pyrite occurs as disseminations ; anhedral masses and euhedral crystals

The entire unit has seritic alteration with small sections of potassic (purplish red) alteration. Both of these alterations have been locally overprinted by silicification.

The sercitic alteration is a light green white colour and is chalky in nature. The carbonate alteration is found along microfractures throughout the unit.

To test IP anomaly near NE trending photo-linear.

Conclusions

Recomaendations

The weak chargeability of the IP anomaly is due to a slight increase in the pyrite content 2-3! within the silicifiedfelsic tuff sections.

The weak lagnetic anonaly is due to the sagnetite content within the felsic tuff. A silicified section (79.l-79.7in ; .82.8-85.2n) appears very siiniliar to the auriferous zone intersected in KL-87-12.

Further drilling pending assay results.

Other 60! includes 201 feldspar due to incompatible programcode. It is a buff light green-grey color with very slightsalmon (k-alteration) patches.

The grain size is a homogenous O.Snn! to v.f.g. In twoplaces over a few centimeters there are coarser fragments(2-4mni) of feldspar subangular to subrounded lapilli(20.9m l 37.5m).

The f.g. magnetite grains are disseminated with a fairlyuniform distribution, The bedding angle varies from 15-55deg. and is only distinguishable in 20! of the unit due toa strong wavy sericite pseudobanding.

In a few places the pyrite content increases to 2-3! alongpitted carbonate stringers ; and surrounding these is amore pervasive sericite halo (37,6-38.8m).

tt of the unit contains larger zoned feldspar phenocrysts. In places they increase in abundance to 5-81. Accessoryhornblende (up to 51) sometimes appears aligned in a weakfoliation in some of the silicified areas (60 deg. toC.A.).

The groundmass is a white chalky (illiite?) and pale greencolored sericitized microfelsitic material,

Hinor carbonate is pervasive throughout alongmicrofractures and as a coating on the feldsparphenocrysts.

Small 2mm quartz-carbonate stringers are parallel to thisfoliation in the sheared area. The upper 5m of this unithas a weak magnetic response.

Tourmaline coated fractures are common, from 143.5-158.0the porphyry appears slightly greener and at 146.5m thereis a small km by 2cm splotch of green mica.

At 149.6m is a patch over 5cm of bright orange carbonate.

The lapilli range in size from 2na to 3cm, Host aresubangular to subrounded fragments stretched within thefoliation plane with a flattening ratio of 3:1.

Most of the fragments are quartzo-feldspathic incomposition ; and many of the feldspar rich fragments havebeen altered strongly to sericite.

Finely disseminated magnetite occurs throughout the matrixand rarer larger magnetite fragments (up to 2cm) with tinypyrite cubes in the center are present.

The pyrite occurs mainly as tiny (1mm) cubes within thesericite-chloritized matrix material. Narrow l-2nincarbonate stringers are generally parallel to thefoliation.

A narrow band of intense shearing (leu wide) at 121.6mcontains only finely ground up rock,

The upper and lower contacts are sharp at 55 deg. to theC.A. with the QFP. A slight increase in pyrite to lioccurs within 20cm of the lower contact,

lcm,In general the fragments have a fairly high sphericity and

range from angular to subrounded, Tiny ^mn fractures sometimes displace broken fragment halves a few millimeters.

The matrix material is almost universally altered to varying degrees with biotite and quartz. liny microfractures up to veinlet size fillings of carbonate (*/- vuggy) are present intersecting at random angles to the C.A.

Hore strongly silicified areas other than those mentioned as subunits to follow are located at ; 203.4-204.6m ; 208.1-208.?m ; 213.1-216.1m ; 221.5-222.1m i 224.3-226.9m ; 233.1-238.?m ; 243.6-247.Om 5 254.0-255.6m.

Magnetite occurs throughout in the matrix and as fragments sometimes. The unit is basically a felsic lapilli tuff withan agglomeritic (*/- breccia) character in places,

Some felsic fragments have sharp angular quart? phenocryst? (rhyolite?). A 20cm portion of the core at 273.4m has a low angle (5 deg. to C.A.) intersecting carbonate .vein.

This silicified section as well as 158.0-159.Om and 159.2-160.5m represents the contact area between the main QFP and a large section of 4e.

It lacks any magnetite in the matrix or fragments. Some of the larger fragments contain 2m silicified rims and some are broken with networks of quartz filling the fractures.

In general all the fragments are quite angular. Silicified portions of the QFP lie within the sections of this unit noted above, Minor Ml) carbonate is present as narrow 1mm fracture fillings.

The section from 159.2-160.5m gradually grades into the next altered portion to be discussed later, In general the fragments are mainly a light buff beige to salmon color and are very obvious against the darker matrix.

Ihe contacts between these sections of this unit and the intervening QFP vary from 30-55 deg.

Ihe darker color of this subunit is due to the chlorite andbiotite alteration which has also affected many of thefragments making them less discernible.

Ihe weak foliation is mainly expressed by the subparallelalignment of the chlorite and biotite. Ihe fragments aremainly felsic (2mtHcm) and are a medium grey color.

One quartz vein occurs at 185.0m with trace pyrite,Magnetite is disseminated throughout the matrix and occursin small patches (previous fragments?).

The pyrite occurs as small 1mm cubes within the alteredmatrix.
