Well – it is finally the end of the summer term, can’t quite believe it’s here already!! We’ve had a fabulous party week in class this week – I think the teachers have enjoyed it as much as the children! We’ve been sewing, racing (on bouncy hoppers of course!) baking, quizzing, dancing and partying! We’ve also been reliving the ‘best bits’ of our topics with the children choosing their favourite songs, stories, dances and shows from the year. We’ve relived the ‘solar system’ and ‘continents songs’, Rosie’s Walk, The Diwali story of Rama and Sita, The Gingerbread Man, Rainforest animals, Tico Tango, ‘Happy’ from the Minions movie, the Cyw ‘Bore Da’ song – and many more!! Thank you for all the support and words of encouragement over the year – we really couldn’t do what we do without all the support of parents, grandparents and carers. Coming along to concerts, providing costumes, all the wonderful support with homework and reading and being so generous with donations – it really does make a HUGE difference. Finally – once again, we are overwhelmed with the messages in the cards/ from parents and the beautiful gifts we’ve received….saying ‘thank you’ just doesn’t seem enough! But ‘THANK YOU’ and we really are taken aback by the generosity. Wishing you all a wonderful summer break and see you in September….
