Italy - Rally Terra Sardinia Triumph for YOKOHAMA

The second and third race of the Trofeo Rally Terra 2015, simultaneous with the World Rally Championship has seen impressive success for YOKOHAMA.

At the end of the first race last Friday, Mauro Trentin on YOKOHAMA tyres achieved victory and shared the podium with another well-known YOKOHAMA driver Gigi Ricci who managed a formidable third place.

The second race on Saturday was even more red and black with a full YOKOHAMA podium with Mauro Trentin on his Peugeot 207 first, Gigi Ricci on board his Ford Fiesta R5 in second and Pablo Biolghini on a Skoda Fabia in third.

Mauro Trentin, ably assisted by co-driver by Alice De Marco confirmed his leadership in the championship, gaining significant points for the next upcoming races.

Gigi Ricci, who had started dominating the first race, faced some technical issues in the tough roads of the Sardinia rally and this cost him valuable time and limited his chances of victory.

YOKOHAMA Italia had equipped the cars with YOKOHAMA ADVAN A053, which are the most suitable tyres for such hard surfaces.

The next Trofeo Rally Terra race will be held in the beautiful San Marino Rally from 10 th till 12th July.
