Students are expected to arrive to class on time, and those improperly dressed will not be admitted. In this classroom, RESPECT is the key word. Every action you do or word you say affects each and every one of us.
Expectations continued
Check FA WEB every night All writing assignments must be
typed unless permitted by teacher Technical difficulties are never an
excuse for a missed assignment (write it down in your planner)
Assignments will not be accepted via email unless permitted by the teacher
Cases of academic dishonesty will result in a zero for that assignment
Grading*Tests usually follow the completion of two or more chapters.
*Each assignment given will be worth a certain amount of points. At the end of each quarter, the number of points earned will be divided by the number of possible points. This percentage grade will be compared to Loyola’s grading scale in order to determine a letter grade.
*Class preparation and participation can raise or lower a student’s grade.
Assessments HW and other written assignments on
time and typed One day late = half credit Two days late = 0

Policies
Lateness/Absences

*Any student who does not submit an excused absence note from the Assistant Headmaster for Student Personnel will receive a 0 (zero) on any missed test or quiz.
*Any student who misses class because of service, retreat or athletics must check with the teacher prior to the absence. If the student is excused from class he is still responsible for any work that he may miss.
