Due to its closed loop operation, the Schumacher hydraulic power unit (with Bucher hydraulics valve) supplies consistent operation regardless of load and temperature. A stepless, linear travel profile is accomplished by utilizing a proportional solenoid. The solenoid voltage is adjusted with the aid of a flow sensor to guarantee a consistent ride with minimal leveling. Consequently, motor run times are reduced by as much as 30%, saving power and creating an environmentally friendly product. Bucher valves also reduce the need for heating and cooling systems, which are required by most other hydraulic systems.
