EA7000 FAN - Oil Cooler 2017-up Air Cooled M8® Touring® Models excludes 2018 FLTRXSE® and 2019 FLHXSE® (both have a empty fan shroud in place) ***Plug and play with ThunderMax*** HD® ECM requires dealer to flash fan on. InstallationYour 1) Remove oil cooler shroud a. Carefully pull outward at the bottom to unsnap the pins b. Tilt shroud upward to unlatch upper clips. 2) Remove 2 oil cooler bolts a. Gently pull outward on cooler, slide fan assy upward into place (notch is the top side) b. Remove connector plug from bike fan harness, plug the fan connector in. c. Start the supplied (2) bolts with washers through oil cooler bracket, align fan bracket then tighten the bolts d. 1) Remove oil cooler shrouda. Carefully pull outward at the bottom to unsnap the pinsb. Tilt shroud upward to unlatch upper clips.
2)Remove 2 oil cooler boltsa.
Gently pull outward on cooler, slide fan assy upwardinto place (notch is the top side)
b.
Remove connector plug from bike fan harness, plugthe fan connector in.
c.
Start the supplied (2) bolts with washers through oil cooler bracket, align fan bracket then tighten the bolts
d.
From the bottom side install lock nuts tighten in place
3) Reinstall oil cooler shroud
