How to use VMware Partner Exchange 2015 Mobile App 1. Go to https://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/partner-exchange/downloads to download the app.
2. Once downloaded, tap the PEX 2015 icon to open the app.
3. After you have opened the app, you will see the splash screen for few seconds (2-3 seconds).

4. The first page you will see is the “What’s Happening” page. Visit this page often to find out what’s happening during Partner Exchange 2015. You can also access the following from this page:
a. Sponsors by their sponsorship level b. Sessions by their Tracks (note each Track has different colors) c. Partner Exchange 2015 recommended sessions
5. Tap the “hamburger” icon for any Conference (Social Media, Maps, FAQ, etc.) and Attendee Specific (Personal Schedule, Notes, and Surveys) information. For any attendee specific information, you will have to log in to the app using your vmworld.com credentials.

6. From the main menu page, select the “Social Media” tab to access the official Partner Exchange Social Media channels. Within the Social Media page, click the “Important links” tab to use the various VMware Partner Exchange social media features.
7. From the main menu page, select the “Daily Highlights” tab to see what’s happening every day during Partner Exchange 2015. Make sure to visit this page frequently to ensure you aren’t missing anything!

8. From the conference page, select the “Sessions” tab to view the 170+sessions available at Partner Exchange. You can also search for sessions by clicking the “search icon” from the Sessions page, or by days (by clicking the days), or by Track and Sub-Track (by clicking Tracks, and then by clicking Sub-track). You can reset your search by selecting the “Track” again and selecting “Clear Filter.”
9. Select the “Speakers” icon on the Sessions page to view the complete list of Partner Exchange 2015 Speakers. The speakers are listed alphabetically.
10. Click on a specific session to view additional details and understand more about the session (It’s Speaker(s), Track, Sub-Track, Technical Level, Session Type etc).

If you are eligible to schedule a session, you can do so by clicking the “+” sign or by clicking the “ + Add to My Schedule” menu from the Session Details page. If you are not logged in already, the app will prompt you to log in before you can schedule a session.
If the session was added successfully, you will see a “Session Added Successfully” message for few seconds. If the session was not added to your schedule, the mobile app will give you an error message.

You can also add sessions to your Interests by clicking the “Star” icon on the session details page.
If you want to tweet about a session, you can do so by clicking the “tweet” icon.
11. Select the “Sponsors/Exhibitors” menu to go to the “Sponsors/Exhibitor” listings page. Select the name/logo of the “Sponsors/Exhibitors” to view other detailed information (booth number, description, website).
You could also tweet about the sponsors/exhibitors by clicking the “tweet” icon from the details page.

12. Select “Agenda-at-a-Glance” to view the high-level agenda of the week. Tap “>” to view the Agenda for upcoming days.
13. Select “Programs/FAQ” to view other Partner programs happening during Partner Exchange 2015. On this page you will also find the link to the FAQ.
14. Select “Moscone Center” to view maps of the campus. Click the map(s) to pinch/zoom them.

15. Tap “San Francisco” to search for transportation, and food/drink around San Francisco.
16. Once you attend a session, if eligible, surveys will be automatically pushed to your mobile app. We also request our attendees to take the General Session Survey, Overall Event Survey and others to better improve future Partner Exchange Programs. To take the survey, simply click the survey that’s made available for you.
Reminder, you must be logged in to take surveys.
17. Select the “Notes” link to create a note for yourself.

18. Select “My Interests/My Schedule” to view your scheduled sessions as well as your sessions of interest.
