Part I : reading comprehension

Read the text and answer the following questions.

Going Shopping

Mom wants Sandra and Bob to go shopping . mom wants to make a shopping list. But Sandra says. " No, mom! We don't need a shopping list."

Soon Sandra and Bob are at the supermarket. They are near the fruit and vegetables. Sandra takes out the cell phone and calls her mom. "Hey , mom," she says, "Do you want red apples?" "Whatever you like," answered mom.

"What about bananas? Do we need bananas?" asks Sandra. "No! We have bananas," Says mom. Sandra and Bob buy green apples, melons , tomatoes, broccoli and potatoes.

Soon mom gets another phone call. Sandra wants to know what kind of yogurt to buy. Her mom says , " we have white yogurt, so buy fruit yogurt." Sandra buys fruit yogurt and white cheese. Then Bob doesn't know what kind of milk to buy. He calls his mom. Mom says " Buy 3% milk."

Sandra and Bob are near the drinks. They buy cola and orange drink. Then they go home .

Sandra and bob have three shopping bags. They put all the food on the table. Mom looks at the food. She says, " Where is the apple juice? Where is the bread? You forgot the oranges. Where is the tea and coffee?" mom is mad. Sandra and Bob look at each other. They are sad. They say, "Sorry mom. Next time we will make a shopping list.
