In our country there are 6 types of

banknotes

The ten – ruble note is dark green and dark

brown in colour. On the front side Krasnoyarsk Paraskeva Pyatnitsa

Chapel and Kommunalny Bridge are shown. And on

the back side there is Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric

power station.

The fifty – ruble note is light blue in colour.

On the front side we see the Statue of Neva at the

bottom of Rostral column in St.Petersburg, and there is the Spit of Vasilevsky Island and the Exchange building

on the back.

The one hundred – ruble note is henna – red in colour. On the front side we see Apollo’s Quadriga on the Building of the Bolshoy Theatre in Moscow. And on the reverse Panorama of Theater Square

is shown.

The five hundred – ruble note is violet in colour. The Monument to Peter the Great, a sailing vessel

and the building of the Sea – river station in Arkhangelsk are on the front. Solovki monastery is

on the back.

The one thousand – ruble note is turquoise in colour. We can see the sights of

Yaroslavl — the Monument to Yaroslav the Wise, the

Chapel of the Kazan Mother of God, a belfry with church

of the Mother of God Pechersky and Sacred gate with church of Introduction of

Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery, the coat of arms

of Yaroslavl on the front. John the Baptist church is

on the back.

The five thousand – ruble note is orange in colour. On the front side is shown the Monument to Muravyov-Amursky and the Coat of

arms of Khabarovsk, on the background the

Khabarovsk rock and outlines of Big Hekhtsirsky ridge. On the back there is

the Bridge across the Amur.

Special for Olympic Games

The one hundred – ruble note is bluish – pink in

colour. On the front there is a snowboarder above the Olympic objects in Sochi. Olympic stadium in Sochi

and firebird are on the back.
