Week 2 (comm 4th March):• Synoptic elements from year 7/8 and terms 1 and 2• A choice of question of units covered in terms 3.
End of year test (Comm 26th June): • Test covering elements from year 10 GCSE content.
(please note teachers will also perform small, informal assessments to gauge progress and identify gaps in knowledge throughout the year)

2 Different routes:
• Combined sciences (triology):
Students will study all three disciplines across the two years. This will culminate in 6 exams (2 in each discipline) and students can end year 11 with 2 science GCSEs.
• Separate Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics):
Students will have separate lessons and teachers for each discipline covering slightly more material in more depth than those in combined. This will culminate in 6 exams (2 in each discipline) and students can end year 11 with 3 GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
