• GEOSS Common Infrastructure (GCI) for discovery of resources: systems, data, services
• GEOSS Data Sharing Principles emphasizing access to full and open data (GEOSS DataCORE)
Aim of the meeting to better understand ("the key questions”)• How GEO/GEOSS should evolve to better serve the
diversity of “real” users?
• What changes in the “digital landscape” are relevant to GEO/GEOSS?
– Evaluation and inclusion of emerging technologies
• What processes should be put in place to ensure:
– Maintenance and evolution of Core GEOSS Components
– Clustering and interfacing with existing or new GEOSS Resources
– Engagement of user communities and new initiatives
