God

— Acts 4.34-35, CB NT p. 214

“And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the Word of God with boldness.”

“Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose agaist the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution.”

— Acts 6.1, CB NT p. 217

“For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people.”

“And when they arrived and gathered the church together, they declared all that God had done with them, and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.”

— Acts 14.27, CB NT p. 235

“Then it seemed good to the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas ... with the following letters...”

— Acts 15.22-23, CB NT p. 236

“So when they were sent off, they went down to Antioch, and having gathered the congregation together, they delivered the letter.”

— Acts 15.30-31, CB NT p. 236

“On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.”

— Acts 20.7, CB NT p. 246

“When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.”

— 1 Corinthians 5.4-5, CB NT p. 294

“Let all things be done for building up.”

— 1 Corinthians 14.26, CB NT p. 307
