Whitland Machinery Sale

Saturday 24th February 2018

The decision to hold an earlier, additional sale for machinery and farm/agricultural

implements and goods was a good one as over 200 vendors filled the sale with almost 1400

lots sold on the day to nearly 300 different purchasers. The weather was dry and sunny but

there was a piercing wind at times depending on where you were stood and which way you

were facing. Bidding was plentiful on all classes of machines and even the ice cream van

boasted the usual good trade despite a cold February wind. Below are some of the leading

prices of the day.
