Tours in the roof
Guided tours in the roof of the Minster are avail-able every day (Monday to Saturday inclusive).Tours include demonstrations of the largest surviving tread wheel crane in Britain, extensive views over East Yorkshire and a behind-the-scenes view of how the Minster was built and is maintained.
Scheduled tours are normally available daily from Monday to Friday inclusive at 11.15am and 2.15pm - subject to other church events - and at other times by arrangement, price £5 for adults, £2.50 for under 16s.
August Bank Holiday Monday special
Climb to the top of the Minster.For one day only, a chance to climb to the very top of the 50 metre (165 foot) Minster clock tower for outstanding 360 degree views. Ideal for photographers, the tour also includes a visit to the 110 year old clock mechanism that operates the chimes.£10 per person, no concessions.

Meeting Room rates start at just £70 (Premium Service) for a morning, afternoon or evening sesssion (up to 4 hours).

We begin our fi nal concert with Haydn’s best known Trio, nicknamed because of the fi nale in a Hungarian style, moving on to one of Dvorak’s best known, writ-ten just before he left for America in 1892. Beverley Literature Festival
Saturday 26 September to 16 October Exhibition of paintings by East Riding Artists displayed along-side the poems which inspired them - written by poets based in the East Riding. The work is drawn from inspiring
and comforting places, including the Minster.
