Transcript of What Time is it Now?

We tell time every day,

whether it is by looking at

our cell phones, watches, or

a clock on the wall. Before

cell phones and the

popularity of digital

clocks, we used analog

clocks to tell time.

A clock or watch is called

“analog” when it has

moving hands, and hours

marked from 1 to 12, to

show you the time.

8 Steps on How to Teach Children to Tell Time Using Analogue

Clocks

Make sure the child can count from 1 to 60. 1

Teach the 5 times tables. 2

Allow the child to quiz you. 7

Quiz the child. 8

shows the time using

numbers, not hands.
