Role as Educator:

• Courses that equip students for their future • Citizens or employees, consumers or community

members ??

• How are students influenced by the environments in which they learn ??

• meeting their higher expectations and greater awareness of the need for more sustainable life-styles ??

• environments that re-enforce the values and behaviours that will lead to the communities we desire ??

Role as Employer:

• Terms and conditions for employees

• Quality of the working environment

• Can people apply their own personal values?

• Encouragements and reward for promoting/innovating sustainable practice

• Inspiring places to work that promote personal development

Role as Institutions within the local community:

• Impact/interaction with the community?

• Wise and responsible uses of resources (money/carbon/energy/buildings/waste etc.)

Divide into 4 groups, each group taking one of the pillars of CR; Environment, workplace, community & market place.

Each group to share what is happening in these areas from their own perspective.

Collect output on flip charts.
