We at Uppsala Innovation Centre (UIC), will help you to develop your idea and identify a viable business model. UIC is ranked as the world’s 10th best business incubator.

Prepare for a hands-on intensive workshop. Our workshop method is based on Lean Startup principles. It is a well proven method, originally from Silicon Valley, for developing business ideas and risk minimizing the business model as fast as possible.

During the workshop you will get tools and methods to develop and validate your business idea. The boot-camp will give you a very good foundation to run a successful business. We will primarily focus on your business model – not the administrative part of the business – so there are no requirements to have a formal business/organisation number.

The Business Startup BootCamp will be held in English and is free of charge. It will be run by Lars Dahlbom and Katarina Chowra, business developers at Uppsala Innovation Centre with support by our preeminent entrepreneurs.

For whom? This is for refugees with an innovative business idea - with or without a team. Your business idea can be in any field, such as IT, retail, life science, clean tech or you name it. It is just important that you have the potential to realise your idea. With innovative business idea we mean that you have a unique idea with a scalable business model.

When? 23-24 April at 9:00 – 18:00. Lunch and coffee/tea will be served.
