DON’T WASTE IT

HERE

This is a story of a small village

People .Some rich some poor

One day a few rich made a box

Full of useful things

Things not everyone could have but needed off and on

It was a hit

It had an iron a mower a grinder a cycle

Poor also started contributing

A rug a basket a bench

Life was easy

Need it take it put it back

No asking no thank you no obligations

It was all going fine

Until one day a rich man child peed in the box

Oh

No problem

The box was cleaned

The rich…..you know

Oh again

This time a poor man’s child pooed in the box

And he shied away from owning it

..…he could do nothing about it

No one took responsibility to clean it this time

Now it was likeneed it clean it use it

The box was loosing its charm

A broken bucket a blunt knife a clock that was correct

only twice a day

(nothing) useful

From everyones box it was becoming

no ones box

Tattered cloth half eaten loaf paper balls

Oh

Some oh again

Some more oh again

It was becoming a waste bin

Now it was likeneed it dig it don’t find it curse it

People were anyways getting wary of using things without having to thank someone for it

Of using things they were not responsible to even clean

Of not having to form a bond over some help

Of not having to knock on someones door

Of not having to do that give and take

Timely they realised their folly and just let the box be

The box died

But the village lived

Now it is like need it ask for it say thank you remember it

It still lives

But not by the box…..anymore

Web is a waste
