A LincolnRevolution

On Friday, Dec. 13, the LincolnElementary gym was trans-formed into a RevolutionaryWar Wax Museum by the fifthgrade students in Mrs.Jensen’s social studies class. The students became “waxmannequins” in scenes suchas the Boston Tea Party andThomas Jefferson writing theDeclaration of Independence, along with 10 other scenes. This was a great way for thestudents to share with theirparents and the rest of the Lin-coln Student Body what theyhave learned about our countrygaining independence fromGreat Britain. History came tolife that day at Lincoln Elemen-tary, or rather came to wax, fora learning experience hopefullythey will not forget soon. (Sub-mitted photo)
