This Journey to Vietnam commemorated the life and service of Col. Robert D. Anderson (MIA-KIA, October 6, 1972) and Capt. Allen U. Graham (MIA-KIA, October 17, 1972). Their daughters set out on a spiritual journey to their fathers crash sites in October 2012, which marked the 40-year anniversary of being shot down over North Vietnam. This pilgrimage was also the first leg of a documentary project in development, “Vietnam: A Daughter’s Journey,” which explores the perspectives from daughters on both sides of the Vietnam conflict. An artistic collaboration was also formed with Le Hung, Artistic Director Emeritus of the Vietnam Youth Theatre, who wishes to help forge a collaboration with Vietnamese daughters to help tell our story!
