Why Use #authres?• creates a context for the Target Language

• alerts students to variances in the TL and culture

• motivates the learner

• inspires discussion (communication)

• reinforces the direct relation between the classroom and the outside world

How to choose #authres

• Choose an authentic resource that is INTERESTING/COMPELLING

• Choose an authentic resource that can be discussed with vocab-COMMUNICATION
