Meet Julia Child! is a live performance featuring Lynne Moulton as Julia Child, the beloved French chef doing what she did best: cooking and talking. Learn about Julia's life—from her privileged childhood to her becoming a culinary legend. Watch “Julia” give a fun, entertaining cooking demo on the set of The French Chef using authentic 1970 ingredients. After the performance, "Julia" and her assistant will open up a discussion with the audience and answer questions.

Upcoming Events
Despite cold March temperatures and the lingering snow, enthusiastic Library supporters filled the Meadow Brook Restaurant function room to enjoy delicious foods expertly paired with accompanying beers at the Library Foundation’s first Beer Fest. L. Knife and Sons provided information on the beers along with interesting facts on the brewing companies. Meadow Brook provided excellent food and service, helping to make the night a huge success. We hope you will join us for Beer Fest 2016!

10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. All crafters welcome
Learn how to summon lighting Bolts with a bow and arrow or
build giant rainbows in the Minecraft world with code.
Library News and Summer Programs
The Hanson Public Library is participating in the 2015 statewide summer reading
program EVERY HERO HAS A STORY
June 26th
through August 22nd.
This program is sponsored by the Hanson Public Library, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, the Friends of the Hanson Library ,the Han-son Public Library Foundation Inc., Hanson Cultural Council. and the John P. Tobin Memorial Children’s Book Collection.
Programs are free, pre-registration is required.
Registration will begin on Monday, June, 15th, 2015
You may register by calling 781-293-2151, by stopping in
the library ,or visiting the library website at
www.hansonlibrary.org and clicking on the
registration icon listed under calendar of events.
Reading logs will be given out on June 26th, the opening day of summer reading. Log in your books or chapters read. Every five books you read or are read to you , entitles you to a book and a prize. Bring your log to the front desk of the library to be stamped.
