The St. Lucie TP O is a “metropolitan planning organization,” a local agency tasked w ith planning, project selection, and prioritizing of State and Federal funding for transportation improvements. These decisions are made by the TP O Board w hich consists of local elected officials and a representative from public transportation. The TP O Board makes these decisions after considering input from the planners, TP O advisory committees, and the public. The TP O also supports activities such as w alking and bicycling that result in the reduction of vehicle trips. The more the public is involved in the transportation decision-making process, the more certain that the transportation system w ill be safe, efficient, and responsive to public needs. If you live, have an interest in, or do business in St. Lucie County, the TP O w ants to hear from you!

M artin County P ublic Transit is a M onday – Friday Service consisting of three fixed routes w ith pre-determined stops and times.

The fixed route fare is $1.50 per boarding. P assengers can purchase a $20 bus pass allow ing for tw enty boardings on any M artin County P ublic Transit fixed route vehicle.

Transfers to the St. Lucie County P ublic Transit Service (Community Transit) are provided to passengers at either the Treasure Coast M all or W al-M art in P ort St. Lucie bus stop locations upon request and at no cost.

GoLine is the Indian R iver County public transportation system w ith bus service on 15 fixed routes throughout Indian R iver County and to the IR SC M ain Campus in Fort P ierce. GoLine buses operate w eekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition, Saturday service is offered from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. R iders under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult and all passengers must be able to board, disembark and carry their ow n packages on and off the buses. GoLine buses are free to ride. Instead of a charge to ride the bus, GoLine passengers are encouraged to make a donation to help support the bus system. • All GoLine vehicles are w heelchair accessible. • The GoLine System does not operate on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Y ear’s Day. On other holidays, GoLine routes follow the regular schedule. • GoLine passengers should arrive at the bus stop approximately 5 minutes before the scheduled pick up time and stand next to the bus stop sign. The driver w ill only stop at the bus stop sign. • GoLine passengers must be able to carry all purchases on and off the bus in one boarding. Large items that block the aisle or must be carried overhead are not permitted. • GoLine bus drivers are not permitted to deviate from the scheduled route.
