• The Varakala beach is situated at a distance of almost one hour north of the city of Trivandrum in the state of Kerala. One can sit and relax on the seashore and enjoy the scenic view of the long and winding stretch of cliff and views which reach out to the Arabian Sea.

Gokarna

• This one is quite a popular beach. Gokarna is a very small and an isolated sacred town located in northern part of Karnataka. Many people are attracted to these isolated and untouched beaches which are located close by. The beaches here look quite similar to the sun-kissed beaches of Goa.

Palolem

• The Palolem Beach is surrounded by a dense grove of coconut trees located in South Goa. This is certainly one of the prettiest beaches of Goa. The beach is almost a mile long, slightly shady, and in a shape of a semi-circle. People from the different parts of world come to have a grand time in this lovely place.

Baga

• Baga beach in Goa is considered to be one of the most happening beaches of Goa. This is located in North Goa. This is quite a popular destination amongst all the tourists and considered to be quite a hot spot too. One can go in for many water sports like banana ride, para sailing, paragliding, dolphin sightseeing trips. One can see many bars, clubs, and beach shacks along with many restaurants located here.

Marari beach

• The Marari beach is located quite close to Alleppey in the state of Kerala. If you want to explore the backwaters, then there’s no better place to be in. The beach is not very crowded and not much developed too. The Marari Beach Resort is quite a well known place to visit here.

Mahabalipuram

• Mahabalipuram is also known as Mamallapuram. This place is located at a distance of almost one hour south of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. This is certainly known to have the best of the beaches. Besides the beaches one can also see many temples and rock sculptures and temples,
