Why do that?

- AOD (2003) widely criticized -> Development issues -> developer change Core Design > Crystal Dynamics - Afterplay: discontinued Story, no sequel -> disappointed fans -> disappointed developers

AOD: The Story Lara Croft - the famous archaeologist adventurer - travels to Paris at the request of her former mentor, Professor Von Croy. When Von Croy dies in mysterious circumstances, Lara is the number one suspect, and must flee the police in order to track down the real killer. Her journey uncovers an occult war that has raged across Europe for centuries , and an ancient Biblical evil that threatens mankind's survival. Lara's travels take her beneath the Louvre, into the tomb of ancient templar orders, and to the streets of Prague where a secret society of dark alchemists plot to breed a new supernatural race with the only intention to enslave the earth.

TLD: It continues Now, Lara finds herself in a race against time. The Nephilim are stirring in their eternal prison, deep within the hills and valleys of Cappadocia, and only Kurtis holds the ancient secret to their demise. Deceived and urged on by Karel's machinations, he stands on the brink of unknowingly releasing the very forces his bloodline has fought for centuries to contain. Only by delving deep into the bloody history of the Lux Veritatis can Lara hope to prevent the Nephilim's return, and save the ally who helped her defeat the Black Alchemist. From the ruins of Castle Kriegler, Eckhardt's former goal, to the windswept Irish Sea and the ghosts of her own past, Lara must decipher the mysteries and confront the forces gathering against humanity.
