To be or not to be… in the

Anneke KlaverDiego Reitano

Who?

•Mexican graphic designer•Most of her works deal with violence, hunger, and children’s rights.

Where?

Studied Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communication Design to the Autonomous Metropolitan University.

from 1993 to 1997.

What?

• Black skull in the center (illustration)

• Yellow background

• Around the mouth area, there is writing that says:

•Fork and a knife in an “X” pattern (actual image)

• This is a personal poster, so it has no clients

•It was exhibited in 2005

• It is her only design in English

Complexity

Originality

Creativity

• Skulls with the “X” shaped

pattern are OVERLY used to represent hazardous situations.

• The use of only ONE

color doesn’t help enhance the poster’s complexity.

• Lourdes Zolezzi uses

the SAME exact design for different

ideas.

Lourdes Zolezzi is undoubtedly a gifted designer, but her pieces of work lack what should be required to be in the ADAC Hall of Fame.
