Scholarship Theta Phi Alpha holds all of our sisters to a

higher academic standard. All sisters must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 Many of our sisters are members of the Honors

Program, and scholarship societies such as the Innocents Society.

PhilanthropiesTheta Phi Alpha has two National Philanthropies:

• The House that Theta Phi Alpha Built

• Glenmary Home Missioners and Camp Friendship

Our local philanthropy is St. Gianna’s Home in Lincoln, NE.

We raise money and volunteer for St Gianna’s which is a home for women who are escaping domestic abuse

InvolvementOur sisters are involved and hold leadership

positions in a variety of campus activities. • Student Government (ASUN)• UNL Marching Band• Honors Programs/Societies• Research • Volunteering programs• UNL Microgravity- NASA • Housing Resident Assistants

Expectations•Uphold the values of Theta Phi Alpha.•Pay Dues: (Ref. Budget) PNM fall semester pledge sister dues and initiation fee. This can be paid in different ways with our payment plans.• Maintain an appropriate GPA for scholastic success. (2.5 for members)•Attend meetings and events.•Be on a committee.•Attend a Pledge Sister retreat.•Pass the National Pledge sister examination (85%)
