•The anglerfish is a member of the order Lopilformes. The fish is named after its method of predation.

Habitat• The anglerfish lives from

about 1,640 to 10,000 feet in the ocean.

• The majority of anglerfish are benthic meaning they live in the deepest dwellings of our ocean.

• There is a smaller population of pelagic anglerfish which live in open water

• They mostly live in the Atlantic and Antarctic Oceans.

Food Source

• When its comes to food in the ocean, the anglerfish is a masters at luring in its prey.

• An Angler Fish eats fish, srimps and crustaceans. Another source said they eat various small fish or fish

feed juvenile fish.
