Will students be taught howto care for their laptops?Students will receive guidance ongood laptop care – this includesergonomics and safe charging.

Students will be encouraged to:• Keep the laptop safe.• Take care when using and charging. Laptops should not be placed on or under soft items such as pillows, lounge chairs or blankets as this may cause the laptop to overheat and could result in damage.• Keep the laptop inside school bags when travelling to and from school.

What happens if a family does not have internet access at home? The laptop will have many uses at home without the internet but the students’ ability to gain full benefit from the laptop will be much greater if they have internet access at home.
