TEXAS GROWS
Most newcomers to Texas came from Southern states, Northern states, and Europe. Some lived in towns and start businesses. Other come to farm and ranch. Each new group brought diversity, or differences such as
different people. Settlers changed Texas from a frontier republic to a growing state.
