MICROSOFT STREAM

“I missed a couple of weeks, so this was a quick way of bringing me up to date without using up any of the teachers time, I understood it but if I didn't then easily ask about it then get a more direct explanation. I think it's just a more efficient way to catch people up rather than doing it with each person individually. “

Student Feedback – use of Microsoft Stream

Engage with students more, make videos on stream and encourage students to watch them so if they fall behind they will be able to go back and catch up. #newgeneration

PROMOTING INDEPENDENT LEARNINGAccessible technologies help students with disabilities unlock their

MICROSOFT TEAMS – REAL-TIME MEETING CAPTIONING

ACCESSIBILITY – IMMERSIVE READERI have a severely Autistic son who is verbal but cannot read or write. However he has amazing visual skills and can type anything he wants into a computer and find whatever information he needs.

He likes to listen to superhero books and gets us to read to him online while he puts his finger under each word.

This learning tool with Office Lens could totally transform his life as well as ours.

He would be able to read by himself and I'm sure with his visual skills he would be able to memorise words and build up his reading vocabulary. Also it will make him much more independent. I'm so excited by this.

Thank you to whoever worked on this.

“At last I have a voice”

INCLUSION

Mindset and Cultureare two of the biggest barriersto innovation

Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important. - Bill Gates

CHANGEMAKER.

A gamechanger, a visionary, a trendsetter, an upsetter, or an innovator.

One who desires change in the world and, gathering knowledge and resources, makes that change happen

“Everyone has a Voice and Everyone Deserves to be Heard”

"In our class, we have a classmate that has problems with hearing. I cannot communicate with him personally because I do not know how to communicate with him with using sign language.

When Teams was introduced to us in our lesson, our class has become more social which is in a good way in that we all help each other.

My classmate with hearing problems messaged me after a day that Teams was introduced to us and we were discussing on how we can make improvements with our assignments which was the first time I ever talked to him.

Teams have given me the opportunity to make a friend even without talking in person.”
