DSP-Partners analysed the penetration of three Key Digital Management Competencies/Skills within the employees of the Dax 30 companies

Methodology
A survey of XING-profiles of the DAX 30 employees was used as a proxy to determine the penetration of the respective tools within the organisations (per Feb 2015)
A XING-search in the field „what I have to offer“ with the terms „PMP“, „Scrum“ and „Design Thinking“ was conducted to determine the employees‘ skills with regard to the respective Management frameworks
Remark:
Not all employees of the respective Dax 30 companies maintain a XING-profile and not everyone with a profile will list the respective qualification/skill
Still, the survey gives a good indication about the penetration of the three Key Digital Management Competencies
About the Study/Methodology
Three companies stand out in the application of the three frameworks
(PMP, Scrum, Design Thinking): SAP, Deutsche Börse and Deutsche Telekom
SAP is the Dax 30 company which leverages all three elements strongly
Deutsche Börse is using „PMP“ and „Scrum“ intensively
Deutsche Telekom focuses on „Scrum“ and „Design Thinking“
Generally, „Scrum“ is the most widespread competence of the 3
A „PMP“ qualification is slightly more common than „Design Thinking“
„Design Thinking“ competencies are not applied widely yet, apart from SAP
which uses this method strongly
