STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT Solomon wrote, “Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless” (Ecclesiastes 5:10). More than meaningless, Paul warned against the love of money, “a root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:10). It is best “to be content whatever the circumstances” (Philippians 4:11), a gift God gives when we put our hope and trust in Him instead of our money or possessions.
