Your authorization code and download link will be emailed to you. Click on the appropriate link to

download SPSS. Take note of your authorisation code

After filling in the information and agreeing to the terms and conditions, click "ok" to download SPSS.

Choose "Save File" option and save it the SPSS download to any folder on your computer.

Remember where you saved it as you will need to browse to that directory to install SPSS.

Right click on the download file and click on "Extract All...".

Tick "Show extracted files when complete" and click "Extract".

Double click on the file to begin the installation of SPSS.

The installation file will show the above message. No action needs to be taken.

Click "Next".

Choose "Authorized user license" and click "Next".

Accept the terms of the license and click "Next".

Choose "Yes" to install Essentials for Python and click "Next".

Accept the terms of the license and click "Next".

Enter in your authorization code and click "Next". The authorization code was included in your email from Hearne

A message as above will be displayed if the authorization is successful. Click "Next".

A summary of the licenses and the expiry date will be displayed as above. Click "Finish".

Click "Yes" to restart your computer. Please ensure you save any work running in other programs.

After restarting your computer, open SPSS by going to the start menu and "All Programs".

SPSS should open successfully as shown above. You are now ready to use SPSS.
