About the ConferenceThe Canadian Emergency Care Conference 2016 is the first national conference dedicated to first aid and
resuscitation. Hosted by the Canadian Red Cross and the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the two organizations are
joining forces to protect and save lives in the workplace and at home.
The conference will be held February 22–24, 2016, in Toronto, Ont., at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference
Centre with additional pre- and post-conference workshops developed by the host organizations for their specific
audiences.
Designed for Canadian-based clinicians, practitioners, providers, instructors, and health and safety personnel in the
fields of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid, the conference will:
• Announce the new Canadian first aid and resuscitation guidelines
• Explain the science behind the 2015–2016 changes
• Help the stakeholders understand how the new guidelines will affect training practices
• Connect Canadian experts in the field with their peers
• Attract 500+ delegates

Space AssignmentExhibits will be set-up on Monday, February 22, 2016, between 9–11 am. Removal will take place on Wednesday,
February 24, afternoon 1 pm.
Sponsors will be given first priority in the selection of booth spaces, in particular booths 1–7 and 26–28. Remaining
booth space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis via the interactive floor plan showing both sold and
available booth spaces.

Payment Schedule for Sponsors and Exhibitors
• 50% deposit prior to November 30, 2015
• 50% balance due December 1, 2015
• After November 30, 2015, full payment will be required at the time of reservation
Additional BadgesSponsors and exhibitors may each purchase an additional two badges at a price of $250 each. These badges are to be
used for additional sponsor and exhibitor representatives to participate in the conference.
Cancellation PolicyContract payments are refunded upon receipt of written notice of cancellation, according to the following terms:
• On or before November 30, 2015, contract payment refunded minus a processing fee of $250 CDN
• After December 1, 2015, contract payment refunded minus a processing fee of $500 CDN
• After January 31, 2016, no refund of contract payment
