Improving user comfort and optimising building energy balanceLow emissivity (LowE) treatment allows Soltis® LowE solar protection textiles to act as thermal barriers. Under the effect of solar radiation, they heat up but do not re-emit their heat towards the building interior. Internal temperature is thus better controlled and user comfort is enhanced. The efficiency of Soltis® LowE fabrics allows building energy consumption to be curtailed, while preserving perfect outward visibility without dazzle.
These textiles are 100% recyclable and they integrate perfectly into high environmental value building designs.
Optimised thermal comfort
Improved building energy performance
Visual comfort preservedSoltis® 92 and 99 fabrics in the LowE range enhance visual comfort. They ensure a sufficient degree of translucency to preserve natural light supply and visual contact with the exterior, while preventing dazzle.
The occupant feels the full effects of winter cold and summer heat resulting from radiation levels within a room. This phenomenon intensifies near the window openings.
Low emissivity treatment applied to Soltis® LowE textiles eliminates this radiation causing a feeling of heat or cold. Occupant comfort is therefore significantly improved by installing Soltis® LowE solar protection textiles in a room.Soltis® LowE fabrics have the best solar factors within the range
thanks to their very low solar transmission and very high solar reflection. They are therefore the most efficient fabrics for reducing solar radiation intake, thereby enhancing thermal comfort.
The LowE treatment enables cool or, conversely, warm air to be reflected and kept inside the building: This is the mirror effect.
By contributing to less overheating in rooms in summer and to heat losses in winter, Soltis® LowE textiles play their part in reducing the energy costs of these buildings.
Eco-efficient micro-ventilated textilesMain applications: Facade blinds - Conservatory and glassroof blinds - Indoor blinds
Vertical blinds
