Data Warehouse (Oracle/SQL environment) uploads SITS data 3x a day

DW is refreshed rather than historically dimensional.Data is normalised and held as views. Data definitions and logic held at DW level rather than application level

Peripheral systems such as Advising and MS Access applications (eg, graduation documentation printing, attendance lists, examination lists, etc.) feed from Data Warehouse

Increasing use of STUTALK (eg, paperless admissions, Module Mark System (MMS), online matriculation)

Common SITS training

Monday mornings, 9.15-10am - as requested bespoke training

- available as 1:1 or group

Monthly on Wednesday afternoon, 2-4.30pm

- 2 - 4.30 pm- 1 hour presentation and 1 hour

practical- invitations sent to all staff- routine training for CAPOD

certification
