It gave me a reason to explore the vast cultural &natural heritage of our great nation.

It gave a deadline to my travel plans.

And because its fun travelling, making friends, tryingnew cuisine, having new experiences and then youget to share your story with the world at large bysharing your pictures and travel details on theGoUNESCO website.

In 2014, I managed to visit 18 WHS in India, whichincluded 17 cultural & 1 natural heritage site.

I managed to cover these 18 WHS by setting out on onecrazy week long trip, a couple of weekend trips and a fewday trips from my city, Delhi.

o Trip 1: Delhi-Sanchi-Bhopal-Aurangabad-Mumbai-Delhi

o Trip 2: Delhi-Agra-Bharatpur-Delhi

o Trip 3: A weekend trip to Jaipur

o Trip 4: Day excursions in Delhi

6 days, 5 cities, 4 trains, 8 buses & a ferry ride. By theend of it, Six World Heritage Sites and A Journey toRemember!

The highlight of the trip was that during the entire trip Ispent just one night in a railway retiring room and onrest all nights I was travelling on trains!

Arrived in Agra early in the morning and visited the Agra Fort and

Fatehpur Sikri; travelled to Bharatpur in the evening and stayed

overnight there to visit the Keoladeo National Park the next day.
