• The seasons are caused by the tilt of the earth.

• The earth is tilted 23.5°.the tilt puts us closer to the sun or further away

Autumn

• Begins September 21st or 22nd

• Daylight gets shorter.• The night time gets

longer.• The leaves cant make

chlorophyll.• They turn red , orange,

and yellow.

Winter• Begins December 21st

or 22nd .• Daylight is the shortest.• Night time is the

longest.• The coldest season and

it snows.

Spring

• Daylight starts getting longer.

• Plants start to grow.• Leaves start to grow on

trees.• Begins March 21st or

march 22nd .

Summer

• Begins June 21st or June 22nd .

• Daylight gets longer.• Night time is shortest.• It has the hottest

temperatures.• Fruits and vegetables

are ripe and ready to eat
