Twenty-Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time
October 15th, 2017
Jesus again in reply spoke to the chief priests and elders of the
people in parables, saying,
"The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a
wedding feast for his son.
He dispatched his servants to summon the invited guests to the
feast, but they refused to come.
A second time he sent other servants, saying, 'Tell those invited:
"Behold, I have prepared my banquet, my calves and fattened
cattle are killed, and everything is ready; come to the feast."'
Some ignored the invitation and went away, one to his farm,
another to his business.
The rest laid hold of his servants, mistreated them, and killed them.
The king was enraged and sent his troops, destroyed those
murderers, and burned their city.
Then he said to his servants, 'The feast is ready, but those who
were invited were not worthy to come.
Go out, therefore, into the main roads and invite to the feast
whomever you find.'
The servants went out into the streets and gathered all they found,
bad and good alike, and the hall was filled with guests." Mt 22:1-10
Our Lady of Fatima told the three little shepherds that God wished there to be devotion of her Immaculate Heart for world peace and for the salvation of souls, for our sal-vation. As she told the children “if what I say to you is
done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.”
This last of our Fatima prayers followed shortly, after Mary opened her hands and showed the children a
terrifying vision of Hell.
She then taught them to say the after each decade of
the rosary:
Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have
most need of Thy mercy.
From Father Ron
Please kneel after the closing song
and pray three Hail Mary’s
for the next person who from our parish who passes away.
Welcome to all newcomers and those visiting! Please take a welcome folder at church entrance.

Thank-you for your caring for the families of Peggy Duffy and
Carol Prince. As a people of Christ Risen and Living, we are the hands and feet and speech of a loving family.
Consider: Shall we replace annual paperback hymnals with a permanent hardcover hymnal?
We have lots of work in the coming weeks, in church heating fundraisers...please be generous.
Mary, the Mother of our Savior, always united with His saving will,
is the Mother of the Church. (Lk 1:26-38)
In the many miraculous apparitions of the last 500 years, she brings God's peace and warns us against evil. At Fatima, she told the children of the horrible consequences of sin, and the need for faithful
to do sacrificial penance. (Lk 1:46-51)
In the Holy Family, we are guided by enduring truth and love so in our families today we can meet changes and challenges. The same
Holy Spirit of the Bible stories fills and warms us today. (Lk 2:46-52)
