On a typical J-style bass, the output jack needs tobe moved to the side of the body and a batterycompartment must be installed in the rear of thebass. System operates on a single 9V battery. Noadditional headroom is gained by using 18 volts.

For other configurations, remove the plate. Potscan be configured for a 4-in-line or a diamondpattern. Threaded potentiometer bushing length is3/8" for rear control cavity installation.

Pickup leads should be spliced onto black andwhite wire connectors located on the blendcontrol. Heat shrink tubing is included to insulateexposed solder joints. Swap connectors toreverse direction of blend control.

Bridge ground should be soldered to the back ofthe blend pot.
