Annex C – Research process

Data collectionData collected for the project was collected by lead practitioners in threeschools, and comprised:

• seven teacher interviews • one staff focus group

three student focus groups.

AnalysisData emerging from the interviews and focus groups were coded ac-cording to their potential to provide evidence for answering the researchsubquestions. Once allocated common practices, issues and themes werethen read across the data set.

The outcomes of the analysis were shared with all participating teach-ers and rened in the light of their feedback.
