OakConsidered a noble wood, oak is much appreciated in furniture

design for its look and durability. Certain pieces are entirely made of oak, but it can also be used only for the inside of a piece or the sides and bottoms of drawers.

Beech woodThis pale wood is used for seats. It can be easily sculpted and

gives richness to the staining. Highly resistant, it is a perfect material for crafting chairs requiring precise joinery.

Cherry woodIt actually refers to wild cherry trees. Its warm color and fine grain

are widely used in cabinet making.

WalnutA highly resistant wood, walnut has a very fine grain and smooth

finish. Its darker color and marked veins and crown are used for decorative purposes.

.

Eco – Conception

Leathers & sofas - headrests

Leather - the 3 types of treatments

TREATMENT PROCESS: COATING

Once the skins have been dyed, a coating is applied for the finishing process.

There are 3 main types of finishings:

• PIGMENTED COATING / FINISH

• ANILINE FINISH

• SEMI ANILINE FINISH

Dany Tannery provides skins for brands like Prada, Dior, Gucci.

Key facts about DAQUACRYL©

What is the difference between Daquacryl and Lacquer?

Lacquered furniture has a thin coat of pigment/paint – very delicate

Daquacryl is used like a wood veneer on a particle board structure 3 mm thick - panels of 305 x 203 cms

Daquacryl is a sheet of PMMA on particle board

PMMA: PolyMethyl MethAcrylate = Acrylic Resin

Easily cut and bent – when heated it becomes soft allowing it to take any desired shape or angle

Easy maintenance – cleaned with window cleaner and scratches are easily removable

Wide choice of colors – 22 standard + 6 metallic finish

THE ROCHE BOBOIS PROVINCIALES FAMILY oche Bobois Provinciales families

• Inspiration: Simplified style from XIXth century: Louis Philippe, Restauration, Directoire and « les meubles de métiers »

(craftmen furniture pieces)

• Manufacturing: Modern: it keeps a traditional part but adds more modern processes and stable materials (veneer, slated

panels…)

• Manufacturing: Industrialized, with innovative and modern processes. Finish with aanual treatment (Country-Chic and Architecte collections illustrate the industrial and cabinetmakers’ pieces)

• Finish: Mostly in colors, sometimes associated with antiquarian cherry wood (Architecte). The sophisticated colors and decorations (Crémone, Country-Chic) emphasize this post industrial era.

• Price: Mid to high price range due to an expensive finish or feature (Hortense legs). A higher positioning for Architecte and Country-Chic (cherry and oak) due to more complex lines.
