With a form inspired by the carnivorous pitcher plant, the chiller evokes a characteristic of embracing and surrounding the wine bottle. Sweeping lines guide the eye softly around the top form and towards the jutting surface that encases and compliments the subject.

Keeping with Bahaus influence, the shaker’s goal was to be modern, sleek , but still reference the family of products. The curving lines on the chiller are mimiced with the same intention of leading the eye down and around the form. The top is rounded to create a more pleasing and comfortable shape for the hand when trying to mix a beverage.

The juicier provided a lot of opportunity to incorporate the sloped top of the chiller, and a low curve that wraps around the base of the form. The back is raised to create better grip when holding the device to juice citrus. A spout was also created to make pouring the juices easier without risking the aesthetic harmony of the design.
