KEUNGGULAN DDF & MONO
KEUNGGULAN DDF SISTEM
1. Proses modifikasi pada mesin diesel kendaraan lama relatif sedikit, dimana dilakukan penambahanrangkaian peralatan konverter kit dan tabung CNG pada kendaraan.
2. Tanpa ada ketersediaan bahan bakar gas, kendaraanmasih tetap berjalan mengunakan 100% diesel solar.
3. Selama sistem ECU kendaraan kompatible denganECU Dual Fuel maka proses konversi umumnya akanmembutuhkan waktu 4-5 hari.
4. Spare parts dan pola perawatan mesin kendaraanDual Fuel Sistem ini relatif tetap sama dengan yang berbahan bakar diesel.
5. Tenaga mesin apabila pada kondisi rasio campuranyang tepat akan terasa lebih besar bagi pengendarakarena ditambahnya energi dari bahan bakar gas yang masuk bercampur dengan solar ke sistem injeksimesin.
6. Kendaraan dapat kembali di konversikan menjadikendaraan bermesin diesel sebagaimana awalnyasehingga nilai jual tetap terjaga.
1. Kendaraan akan menghasilkan tenaga yang hampirsama dengan berbahan diesel meskipun perludilakukan modifikasi pada piston, silinder head untuk injeksi solar menjadi busi, distributor, sertamenambahkan rangkaian peralatan sistem konversiCNG.
2. Proses retrofit konversi dedicated akanmembutuhkan waktu 7-10 hari.
3. Mesin akan aman meskipun mengunakan BBG karena telah dimodifikasi untuk menerima BBG.
4. Kendaraan akan memperoleh manfaat ekonomipenghematan optimal dari selisih perbedaan hargabahan bakar diesel dan BBG.
5. Spare parts perawatan mesin kendaraan Retrofit Dedicated CNG relatif tetap sama dengan yang berbahan bakar diesel, hanya ada penambahan dikebutuhan spare parts untuk busi dan kabel busi.
6. Kendaraan dapat kembali di konversikan menjadikendaraan bermesin diesel sebagaimana awalnya
sehingga nilai jual tetap dapat terjaga.
KEUNGGULAN MONO SISTEM
KEKURANGAN DDF & MONO
KEKURANGAN DDF SISTEM
1. Meskipun rasio pengunaan BBG bisa mencapai 70%, kondisi ini sangat tergantung dari banyak faktor yang sulit dikontrol seperti kondisi jalan, kemacetan, perilakupengemudi, kondisi mesin, kompatibilitas mesin danelektronik/ECU, dll, terhadap sistem Dual Fuel. Padaputaran rendah atau RPM rendah, kendaraan cenderungmengkomsumsi diesel daripada CNG, sehingga untukkondisi jalan di Indonesia yang umumnya lalu lintasnyapadat, maka optimum ratio pengunaan BBG diatas 60% akan sulit tercapai.
2. Karena kendaraan mengunakan bahan bakar solar danCNG, maka pengendara harus melakukan pengisian keSPBU dan SPBG.
3. Karena sistem Dual Fuel ini tergantung dari rasiopengunaan BBG dan Solar yang dicapai, maka tingkatpenghematan akan lebih rendah dari yang kendaraanyang dedicated atau 100% bermesin CNG. Apalagi padakondisi rasio BBG-Solar dibawah 50% dari solar.
4. Selain ada beban dan area untuk tangki solar, sistem dual ini akan ada tambahan beban dari penempatan CNG Cylinder tank.
1. Ketergantungan akan supplai gas merupakankekurangan dari sistem dedicated, sehingga pemilikpengendara perlu memastikan jaminan ketersediaangas-nya.
2. Karena daya tampung CNG Cylinder adalah 1/3 daridaya tampung tanki solar pada ukuran dimensi tankiyang sama, maka kendaraan akan perlu melakukanpengisian ke SPBG lebih sering daripada ke SPBU pada saat mengunakan mesin diesel. Kecualikendaraan masih mempunyai ruang yang cukupuntuk ditambahkan tabung CNG Cylinder sampaikapasitas volume yang sama dengan tangki solar.
