Introduction of new curricula allowed:- to arrange training schedule of specialists of different levels
- to stabilize weekly study load of students and teachers (bachelors – 27 hours, specialists and masters – 24 hours);- to bring together the training processes and research activities ( each semester has 3 credits for research work of a student);- to structure semesters by the limitation of educational disciplines amount per semester ( no more than 7).

Development of international academic mobility:
•Exchange education of students and postgraduates in the leading partner universities of Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Poland, France, the USA;
• Practical training of students abroad (France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Rumania, Poland);
• Internship of students, teachers and researches abroad;
• Summer language courses in the country of a native speaker (Austria);
• Double degree programs with foreign universities;
•Annually more than 300 teachers and 100 students go to internship abroad.
The Seventh Framework Programme of EU:
1. Modern Composite Materials Applied in Aerospace (Lublin University of Technology).
2. Innovative nondestructive testing and advanced composite repair of pipelines with volumetric surface defects (Polish Military University of Technology).
Joint projects with Polish scientists:
1. Transport properties of nanostructures SnSe-YbS (Polish Academy of Sciences).
2. Design of straight flow HEP with a capacity 25 kW (Warsaw University of Technology).
3. Modernization of the steam turbine 25 MW (Warsaw University of Technology ).
1. After the visit of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mr. Serhii Kvit to Poland, 3 students of NTU “KhPI” started preparation for participation in the scholarship programme “Polish ERASMUS for Ukraine”.
2. Students and teachers of NTU “KhPI” cooperate in the field of education with universities of Poland (Warsaw, Poznan, Cracow University of Technology and Kielce University of Technology).

The sum of scientific work funding for the last year is 26 mln. hrn.
In implementation of R&D activities take part 1962 scientific and pedagogical staff, 762 permanent research workers and 6058 students.
34 international grants amounting to 8 mln. euro are being realized.
In professional scientific publications over 5, 000 scientific articles published, including students - 1089.

Nowadays in Ukraine the degree of centralization of power at university is big enough.
Public private partnerships with business and the dual system of education are worth discussing.
