Topic : Characteristic vs. Appearance
Hypothesis : People will concern more on the appearance compare to the characteristic.
Quantitative & Qualitative:
Quantitative refers to descriptions having to do with numbers and statistics, while Qualitative
refers to descriptions having to do with quality or worth.
Procedure: 1. Research about the ideas characteristic and appearance of a person that will attract
others.
2. Discussion with group mates about the topic
3. Planning a survey test from student in Taylor’s University.
4. Analysis the collected data from the survey.
5. Graph and pie chart will be done.
Ethnic Consideration:
1.Informed consent:
The objective of the survey will be informed to the participants so that participants will not
misunderstanding the research purposes.
2. Respect confidentiality and privacy:
The survey sheet answered by the participant will keep as privacy. Give participants information
about how their data will be used, what will be done with case materials, photos and audio and
video recordings, and secure their consent.
3. Withdrawn from the investigation:
Participants will be informed that they have the right to stop the surveying process if any
inconvenience causes. In the end of surveying, participants have the opportunity to withdrawn
the information they provided.
