In this special issue of Rio, we feature two very important philanthropists and community leaders that have revolutionized Laredo and its surrounding cities. David Killam and Renato Ramirez were recently inducted into the Junior Achievement Laredo Business Hall of Fame. We had the pleasure of interviewing these great men and found out about their business principles and their outlook on future generations. Lama Tsultrim Sangpo visited Laredo for a three-day seminar. He was kind enough to give us an interview. Some of the events covered in this issue were the Gypsy Kings Concert, the Junior Achievement Laredo Business Hall of Fame, and the Holocaust Remembrance Day.
